The Definition of Triple One Day

 

November 11 is China Singles Day which is commonly called Double Eleven Day.

Over $10 billion worth of goods are sold on Chinese shopping websites including Alibaba in a singles day.

It is not just a small shopping event but it is developed into a national shopping festival.

 

However you may feel as if it is only for Chinese people, creating a sense of alienation to the people in the rest of the world.

This is how January 11 and November 1 came up as a new Singles Day.

 

It is called Triple One Day. (111, Triple 1)
