HaiTao(海淘) refers to ‘Chinese shoppers in China who make direct purchasing of overseas products through online channels’.

 

The number of them has shown sharp increases every year, and Hallyu(韩流) is considered to be a driving force behind that.

 

After the FTA (Free Trade Agreement) between Korea and China, China has become closer than ever before.

 

HaiTao Day is expected to allow those two countries to maintain and develop close relationships.
